About The Artist
My work explores movement, atmosphere, and the emotional resonance of color through abstract painting. Working with acrylic on canvas and alcohol ink on Yupo paper, I guide the flow and interaction of pigment through layering, gesture, and careful manipulation of the medium. Music plays an essential role in my process, influencing rhythm, pace, and energy in the work. Through abstraction, I aim to create visual spaces that invite reflection, calm, and personal interpretation.
I am a self-taught artist from San Francisco, CA. With a lifelong passion for both the visual and auditory arts, I’ve played guitar and piano for more than half of my life. It was through this deep connection to sound that I found my way into painting. Music is not just an influence—it is the pulse behind every stroke. Without music, I do not paint. As a first responder and artist, I find solace in my creative pursuits. Each piece I create is infused with intention, yet open to your interpretation. I invite you to explore freely, to engage with your own emotions and imagination as you connect with my work. It is my hope that my paintings bring you a sense of joy, peace, and personal resonance—just as creating them has done for me.

I will be presenting my work alongside Diane del Barrio at the Marin Art and Garden Center during Open Studios on the weekends of May 2–3 and May 9–10.
